The StarTech.com metal 3.5 inch to 5.25 inch drive adapter brackets allow 3.5 inch drives hard drives to be mounted in standard 5.25 inch drive bays. It works with IDE, SCSI, or SCA drives and includes screws to mount the drive.

it did what it was supposed to, and was easy to install once i figured out how to align it. a diagram or instructions would have been very helpful.

Hard drives put into 5" bays allow for spacing and air circulating which these brackets are invaluable and needed.

All I can say about this set of mounts is that they didn't cost me much.
They are cheaply made, lightweight, and didn't fit my drive bay very well.

This Bracket is very useful i built a external disk drive whith this bracket and one aluminum case.

This company shipped the item the day I ordered it. Since deadline for returning the internal harddrive was fast approaching, this was truly great, even more so since the following Monday it was a postal holiday.
While the bracket left still some clearance on the one side (I guess one could put a wedge there), I could attach it on the other side both to the harddrive and to the slide and I feel it won't be going anywhere with just this one side fastened. It might have helped to know that there is a very slight difference between the two types of screws, the slightly fatter ones go into the harddrive, the skinnier ones into the slide (in my case through the bottom of the slide.) It sure was nice and cheap as well and is just fine.
