Very Functional, Good Sound........2007-06-08

I bought these to use with my Ipod while lifting weights at the gym. I have been using them for about a month now and have been very pleased with the results. The "pros" for using them for this type of activity: Only one cord to the earpiece rather than two keeps the cord out of the way better than a two-corded set; The around-the-neck feature keeps them in place nicely and hasn't interfered with my routine; The sound quality is very good. Although the cord is lightweight, it seems plenty durable for the job. I only wish they came in another color than the green, but that is a minor complaint.

These headphones sound great, and are molded and very comfortable. They don't slip and fall out of my ear when I run. I recommend them highly but I gave them 4 of 5 stars because they would be even better if the neckband was adjustable.

I have now run with these earphones about a month (~100 miles). They replaced my iPod earbuds.

The good:
1. Sound quality is excellent. There are times when I am running that I can hear parts of the music that I don't necessarily hear using my Bose at home in my living room. It provides excellent reproduction of the full range of sound.
2. They don't fall out of your ears. Not once.
3. You can wear a hat because the band goes around the back of your head, under the normal area for your hat.
4. Another reviewer mentioned wind noise but I don't find this to be any different than my old ear buds.
5. The little clip on the wire attaches to your jersey and prevents a lot of tugging on the wires.
6. The neon green makes it easier to find them when they are thrown around the house.

The less-than-good
1. They are tight enough to cause some ear discomfort with long runs.

I've had these phones for almost a year now, and I can honestly say that, as far as sports headsets go, these are the cream of the crop.

Sennheiser has definitely hit the mark: Great bass in a small package, super-snug fit (but not uncomfortable), and a tough, coiled wire that stays out of the way.

I can't say enough about the sound quality. You really don't expect much from sport phones, especially the bud style like these, but the 70's were a surprise, and the bass hasn't faded at all in the year I've owned them. Combine this with the fact that these are snug, but don't pinch, and has only one cord (sooo convenient) that safely coils out the way, and you've got yourself one SpottieOttieDopolicious set of head phones.

But what would Mary Queen of Scots do, you ask? Well, she sure wouldn't Protest perfection, and if she were alive today, I'm quite sure that she'd cop a pair of these without thinking twice.

I have read several reviews that these head phones were not that good. I can say after using them for a month now that I have had no problems. Good sound, not great - Fit comfortably, not perfect. Contrary to other comments I do not find the cord to be too long. Overall, I like it - it works
