It's compatible with MP3, WMA, secure WMA, and Audible audio file formats. The digital FM radio allows you to access local radio stations, as well as preset up to 20 of your favorite stations. With five equalizer types for the FM radio and music player, you can optimize your sound for your favorite style of music, such as, Rock, Jazz, Classical, Pop, and Custom (user-defined). You can also use the built-in microphone and voice recording function to capture interviews, classes, and short voice notes to yourself.<P> The compact yet robust industrial design offers an easy-to-use interface with an indigo-backlit LCD screen showing ID3 tag information from currently playing tracks (song title, artist, and album, as well as battery level and playlist). Simply the best!.......2007-06-11

I have had this mp3 player for almost a year now, I use it daily and I have not had one single problem with it. I'm almost convinced that some of these negative comments are people with computer problems (they just don't know it yet)or possibly the song is defective.
Putting music on it is a dream, I drag and drop using Windows Explorer.
The computer sees it as a plug and play device.

This player is extremely easy to use, its light-weight very small and quite attractive. The buttons are in logical places and easy to get used to. The sound quality is beautiful and 2 GBs are pleanty for what I need. It is perfect for anything, the gym, beach, driving, hiking, you name it. (well except swimming, I wouldn't recommend that lol.)

All in all, I am more than satisfied with this player, I have never looked back, I look forward to buying the 4 GB some day, when I have half a million songs.

This product is absolutely perfect. It has all of the things I was looking for-FM tuner, recorder, MP3 player. And for the price, it is a real value. I also have a 5th generation Ipod for which I hardly use since i have this product. The Ipods don't have the radio and record features built it. And not to mention, this product is so light weight, its unbelievable. I definitely recommend it.

I knew when I bought this that it didn't have all the bells and whistles of an ipod, so I can't complain that it doesn't have a ton of features. But for the money, it's very convenient. I use WMA formats mostly anyhow so that is not an issue. I bought this for my husband for Christmas 2007 as his first mp3 player figuring he'd lose it or break it long ago... but it is still fine 6 months later and he uses nearly every day, mostly in his car with a cassette adapter. It has no skipping or other problems. We use rechargeable batteries in it, and usually have 2 spares recharged at any time so if it runs out we just pop in another. Would like a new case for it though, the clear plastic one that came with it yellowed quickly, but protects the unit well enough. As others mentioned, the directions are not very clear, but it works pretty much like any other removable disk when you connect it to your computer. People who aren't very computer savvy may need a little assistance the first time, but basically all you have to do is drag and drop files, not too complicated.

I received this MP3 player as a gift and liked it so much I bought one for a friend who was traveling to Africa. A big plus is that it runs on one AAA battery for 9-10 hours (you have to remember to turn it off, and not fall asleep listening). 2 GB is enough memory for me, and the price was reasonable. I have had 3 books on tape and several music CDs on it, which has lasted me several months of listening time during workouts. It comes with a clear "skin" which becomes more pliable with time, and decent headphones which can be upgraded if you prefer. It fits nicely in my coat or pants pocket without falling out. I would be concerned about having a more expensive MP3 player.
