This product is pretty nice, just wish it was a little bigger. The material is outstanding. Feels great, has gtood cushioning. I have a 17" inch laptop from HP and its pretty snug. I barely can get it zipped up, but as long as I can get it in, Im happy. It stretches pretty nice, just thought the product was a little bigger.

Barely fits..........2007-05-06

My 17 inch Alienware m9700 barely fits, thus a lot of tension is placed on the zippers, and I've already noticed some of the stiching is bursting. Needless to say I will be returning this item.

Outstanding Protection.......2007-05-06

This is an extremely well made sleeve for a laptop. I have a Toshiba 17" laptop and I bought this sleeve because of the outstanding workmanship. It fits my laptop like a glove. It is made of wet suit material which offers more cushion than another sleeve I used on my 15" laptop. It zips on the side instead of the front so it offers more protection for the computer. I highly recommend this product.

...so, unobjectively speaking, i like it. i have a 15.5" widescreen, and i think i was supposed to get the 15" sleeve because it stretches to fit, but there is room for my power cord in the 17" sleeve. at airport security they really slam your computer around. the texture is agreeable, it's washable, and it really hugs your computer--but is still slim enough to fit inside a carry-on bag with other stuff.
it's expensive for what it is, but they all are, and this size is sold out everywhere except on amazon. it's also got style, which most other ones haven't, and it's still practical.
