Velocity S-Video Interconnects from Impact Acoustics offer vivid picture quality for today's video and home theater applications. These cost-effective performance cables give you maximum video quality compared to ordinary s-video cables. Low-loss dual 75ohm oxygen-free copper wire and foam dielectric provide optimized picture quality. Individually double-shielded wires combined with an overall aluminum foil and OFC braid shield protects against unwanted noise and interference. The dual coax design carries the Video (Y) signal separate from the Color (C) providing higher resolution and better picture quality. I purchased this cable so I can watch TV from the internet on my computer. I have an Dell Inspiron 700M and a Sony WEGA KV-27HS420. The 700m has a 7-prong S-Video connection, but it works fine with this 5-prong S-Video cable. I had a hard time deciding on the right length, but 12 ft turned out to be perfect for my setup.
I also purchased a Belkin Y Audio cable (also 12 ft) to connect from the computer to the TV for audio. It works great too. You can also use the audio cable to connect your iPod to your stereo.
