Excellent quality case.......2007-06-08

This case is a winner. I have used several cases in the past and like the overall design of this one. Each pouch is in the right spot and has a meaningful use. I like the zippered area on the side that works well for the various cables that I carry. It has a nice padded area for the computer with a separate smaller case in which a 17" notebook computer just fits (I have to turn my HP Pavillion ZD 8000 with the back of the computer up or the pouch won't zip.) It also has a convenient area for stowing of paper, pads, notebooks, etc. On the side opposite where I store cables, there is a pouch designed for airline tickets and a pouch for pens, CD's, etc. The overall design is just what I wanted. The only downside - I hate the shoulder strap. The stretchy shoulder portion is not very comfortable.

This is the best laptop bag I have ever owned. The padded shoulder strap combined with the way it contours to your body makes carrying even the heaviest laptop comfortable. It has plenty of room for peripherals. The padded mini case inside this laptop is convenient for quick trips where I don't need to carry my power cord and peripherals and it is the only case I found on the market that adequately protected the imprint finish on my 17" dv9000.

that darn inner sleeve inside the smaller carrying case won't fit over my dell latitude d810... i guess i'll just put it outside the laptop but still keep it in the smaller compartment.

BESIDES THAT.. it seems like a solid bag. i actually went to circut city and picked it up for $97 but returned it when i went online to see if amazon carried it. gladly they did and i saved $30.

can't wait to see how it holds up to the NYC subway system.

This case is everything I expected from Kensington, good quality, excelent ergonomics, attention to detail, I like the way it balances in your shoulder, I have a ten pound notebook and it feels great when loaded with all the accessories and a few paper files, I highly recommend this case

I've used many laptop cases and this is one of the best. I had the case for the 15 laptops, but this one is designed a little better (not sure why). The strap on the 15" didn't last and neither will this. But not a big deal, I just got one that was better. If you buy this expecting to change the strap at some point, you'll be okay, if not, then you'll be dissappointed.
