The Durable line of Rubbermaid food storage containers is designed to stack securely when full of flour, sugar, cookies, cereal, and more. The base of the upper container nests into the recessed lid of the container underneath, preventing slipping and sliding on the shelf. Made of thick, long-lasting plastic, the food savers may be used to freeze liquids and solids without fear of cracking, and can safely reheat leftovers in the microwave. After use, they wash up clean as a whistle in the dishwasher.

Designed with clear sides so you can see what's inside, Durable food savers come in a choice of shape, size, and lid color. This round container holds approximately one cup, ideal for refrigerating that extra bit of leftover soup and then transporting it to work, or for carrying kids' snacks on trips to the zoo. The airtight lid pries off easily thanks to a tab on the lid that lines up with a notch in the wide rim of the base. Product Description

I use these when I'm preparing meals days in advance. I can chop the veggies, measure the ingredients, or whatever and store them in these until I'm ready to make the meal. It saves a lot of time on those nights when I have no energy or ambition.

These are also great to take to work because I can take anything, take the lid off and put the dish in the microwave.
