This is a good item for raising your laptop computer to a height that is more appropriate for working (provided you have a separate keyboard & mouse!) and avoiding neck & back strain. It definitely feels sturdy under my cpu (IBM T41--not huge, but not tiny either), and the fact that it rotates is actually helpful given the space that I put it in--I can shift it around to reach the USB ports and CD-rom drive on either side very easily.

I think this particular one (without the USB ports) has actually been discontinued, so if this is what you are looking for, you might have problems finding it elsewhere (except a particular on-line auction site that shall remain nameless). If you are looking for something like a docking station, this is not the item for you, and you will definitely need the USB versions--and I would imagine that the Xbrand versions with the multiple USB ports probably work just as nicely. One of the reasons that the additional USB ports come in handy is because you need to have an external mouse & keyboard to use your laptop once on the stand--which usually take up at least one USB port. So, if you have a lot of things attached to your cpu already taking up the USB ports, this basic version may not be ideal for you. However, if you don't need extra ports or something that functions more like a docking station (I didn't), this is a great item for the price.

I like the fact that it allows you to angle your screen, rather than just propping it up four inches from the desk (although with the various height settings, that is also an option)--which is something that I could do with a couple of phone books instead of other laptop stands i've seen that cost just as much. If you are in the market for something like this, I definitely recommend this product.
