Panasonic TH-50PX60U Wall Mount.......2007-06-08

I received the wall mount promptly and had to call the mfg since my Plasma was not on their list. The most important part of the wall mount is locating and marking the 2 studs to be used. The instructions were adequate but I did need to ask their support person which bolts should be used for my TV since they have quite a few nuts & bolts to accomodate various TVs but they do not tell you which ones to use for your specific TV. I also took advantage of the tilt feature and it took two people to mount the Plasma on the mount. All in all I was very happy about this purchase and would certaintly recommend this for my type of TV. It sure beats paying >$250 for a Panasonic mount.

I used this wall mount to hang a 50 inch Samsung plasma (93 pounds). The wall bracket was very easy to install, and they include the proper hardware for every television imaginable. The brackets were also easy to add to the TV and then you just place it on the wall mount. Because the TV was so large that I was installing, I needed an extension on my cordless screwdriver to tighten the screws on the bottom once hanging on the wall, but that's only related to the size of the TV, just something to keep in mind when you're at the point in the install.

If you look at all the other mounts available, you should definitely consider this one. It does what is expected, mount tilts up and down and is very secure. It took my wife and I about an hour to get everything up and the tv on the wall looks great! The price is unbelievable in comparison to the other mounts out there. Overall I am very happy with the purchase. Now just to let you in on the overall adjustments and things, it has numerous holes to mount to the studs, but I would recommend mounting it as if it were centered on the two studs. You can position the tv, like the other reviews say, about three inches either way, but then it is secured into place, so you can't move it back and forth, without unscrewing the brace on the mount itself, not to say it cannot be done, but it isn't as easy as walking up and pushing it. The tilt is a secure tilt, meaning that once you have it where you want it, another screw secures it. If you plan on moving the tv around at will, I would not recommend this mount, but if you plan on placing it, attaching the tv and after minor adjustments, leaving it where it is, I would definitely recommend!
