The best quality color printing is 4 ppm (16 ppm for black and white) and includes automatic color calibration to ensure consistent, high-quality color over the life of the printer. Loaded with a 600 dpi engine, this printer has HP's Image Resolution Enhancement technology, which provides 2,400 dpi class color laser print quality. All media types can be used with the 4550HDN, including envelopes, transparences, labels, and card stock--up to 42-pound stock. With three paper trays, it has a maximum input capacity of 900 sheets and a maximum output of 250 sheets. This model comes ready for duplex printing.The network-ready LaserJet 4550HDN comes with 128 MB of RAM with a maximum option of 192 MB. Drivers included are Windows 3.1, 95, 98, NT (3.51, 4.0, 2000), Mac OS, and Mac OS 2. Standard connectivity includes a bidirectionalparallel port, two enhanced input/output (EIO) slots, paper handlingaccessory port, and an infrared receiver port. HP offers a one-year limitedwarranty.
