I thought it would actually work well since i see all those good reviews but i guess its all a gimmick... i was better off with the razors i shave with my face.. the shaver is way over priced for what it can do...go to a local target and get yourself a razor for $7.00 like a gilette with fusion..that will work fine..please stay away from this product and save yourself $40.00...

I had my doubts about this device seeing the Philips name on it but knowing that Norelco had something to do with it eased my mind and I thought I'd give in. I have been using a Norelco face trimmer with a flip trim thingy to shave below the neck for years and it has gotten way too annoying. I saw the ad for this product in Men's Health magazine. Those bald kiwis really made me think "it can't cut that close without pain?" Oh yes, it can. I have used this thing pretty much everywhere below the neck, including my "kiwi fruit" and it works flawlessly, just don't rush it. Philips/Norelco really hit the nail on the head with this product. I was wondering how long it would take companies to realize that guys like to keep it clean down there too and there weren't many choices and I refuse to wax. I don't like too much hair, but I don't like silky smooth skin either, I am still a guy. If you think trimming down there is feminine, than it's your loss. Warning, if using this on your legs, it does get pretty darn close to a clean shave so be sure you want the hair gone. I have only charged it once, and that was the first time I used it. I've had the product for about 3 weeks and have used it several times within that time frame for about 15 minutes at a time and the battery has yet to need a charge. Cleaning is fairly simple, but the first time it does take some effort to snap that razor foil off. Make sure its snapped on well. Great design, awesome colors (black & blue are my favorite), and lightweight. Easy to pack for a trip, just need to find a bag for it.

It tends to work better dry but the wet feature is great as well. It is easy to clean, and does a great job in those tough hard to reach areas. Before this I used a razor to shave in the "downstairs" region but I haven't looked back since.

Purchased it when a friend recommended. Its value for money but its not a great. Comes with a lot of accessories. Gives a nice clean shave. Can use it below neck for any part. Be careful while using it as if you are too fast, it may pull your hair. So be patient and groom slowly. I guess its the case with all groomers. The only complain that I've it that you have to press it hard against the skin and in order to get a clean shave, you have to use it from multiple direction at the same spot. A bit of problem. Otherwise a good product for the price.

I was skeptical at first. After watching the promotion I decided what the heck and ordered it. I have been pleased with the results. I found that if you go slow you will have better results. After using it a couple of times I get better results -- not sure if that is due to improved technique or if it works better after "the forest is knocked down" as one other reviewer put it.
