Customer Reviews:

2 out of 5 stars doesn't play nicely with Epson.......2006-06-20

Got some on sale for use with my Epson photo printer. The colors come out grainy and entirely unacceptable. If you have an Epson, beware.

5 out of 5 stars Far more commercial use than you'd imagine.......2000-02-03

Kodak's photographic paper is easily the best photopaper available on the consumer market, though Kodak markets more economical quantities than the one on offer here. Still, Amazon's price is quite competitive for the quantity.

The variety of applications for the paper is far greater than would first be apparent. Though its primary market remains the avid home hobbyist, this paper has considerable use to small businesses who want to create a professional impression.

Inkjets produce work which is highly colorful and detailed, but unfortunately highly permeable to water. Inkjet output quality is also typically dependent upon the type of paper used.

Kodak paper brings out the brilliance of colorful designs better than any other paper, of any kind, that I've used. You will simply be blown away by how different your designs look on Kodak paper than regular paper. It also produces work that is resistant (though not completely impervious) to moisture.

This jump to a quality which is imperceptibly different from that which you would get from a commercial printing job costing thousands of dollars makes the paper an inexpensive medium for low volume printing of colorful menus, coupons, free-standing advertisements, schematics, master copies of frequently used documents, or any other kind of printing where you need your work especially crisp, professional, and, most importantly, durable. Its utility as a master copy is so profound, in fact, that almost all of my forms are on Kodak paper. The quality of Xerox (R) copies from masters on Kodak paper is significantly higher than that done on regular paper. Plus you're never likely to mistake a Kodak master for a plain paper master and accidentally use it.

I've found the paper invaluable for any design which has more than, say, 10 layers because it really makes each layer clearly visible. If you do heavy creative graphic design, this is the paper on which to showcase your work if, like most people, you can't afford full color professional printing of your designs.

For the commercial user, however, its application is limited to small print runs, so take care when figuring out its cost-effectiveness for your particular needs.

5 out of 5 stars Can't get enough.......2000-01-14

Package to small, need 50 pack atleast, 100 would be better

4 out of 5 stars Better than HP Premium Photo paper.......2000-01-09

We tested the Kodak paper against the HP Premium paper in our new HP 812C printer and felt the HP paper was too warm (too red) compared to the Kodak paper which had more accurate colors.

We used the HP Premium Photo Paper setting for both papers.
