A nice printer for the money. Good for home use and as an entry level photo printer for the budding pro or serious amateur. My next purchase will be the 9000 or 9500 that are capable of 13x19 inch prints.

Great printer........2007-06-11

I love this printer. It is user friendly and quickly produces high quality prints. My favorite feature, of course, is the photo edit. If it had more advanced edit options, it would be the perfect printer for me. As is, I am still very pleased.

Have always bought Epson printers in the past . This is my first Canon printer and I am delighted with it. So far have not had any need to clean the print head which was a frequent problem with Epson. The printer is very quiet, it is fast and the print and photo quality is excellent. Had not expectd to get a unit this good for so little money.

Great printer so far. only disturbing thing about unit is price of ink cartridges. not printer's fault and applies generally to all ink jet printers nowadays. experience tells me to use OEM cartridges; some "accepatble substitute" manufacturers products are crXX.
