I've been brushing with an older Sonicare for many years, and just had an excellent dental check up after two years. This newer model is lighter, smaller, fits in the mouth better, and uses less toothpaste. I believe it also features a more efficient up and down brushing motion. I gave my old one away after many years of use, and it's still going strong. I expect this one to last as long, which makes it a great bargain over the years, since regular use will cut down on my dental bills!
