MacCase Sleeves are designed for someone who already has an existing briefcase, tote or backpack, and wants basic protection for your MacBook. The Sleeve uses a very dense foam wrapped in the proprietary "All White" metallic-look nylon. Lined with a soft velvet, MacCase Sleeves feature their signature logo window and a large opening which makes getting your computer in and out a snap. In addition, the closure flap provides better protection and security without the harmful scratching effects of a zipper closure.There is a tough polyester wrapped pipping that surrounds the case on three sides and acts as a bumper absorbing small impacts. Features Custom designed to perfectly fit the MacBook. Fully padded protection. Specially designed "MacCase Window" allows Apple logo to become part of the design. Interior lined with a soft touch velvet fabric. Zipperless design will not scratch like sleeves with zippers. The rear panel features an incorporated vent that helps keep your processor cool. Pretty good case, but..........2007-02-28

It's not really white. It's actually more like silver.

That said, it's a good case that will keep your MacBook snug and unscratched. It is velcro, so you won't have to worry about rouge zippers nipping at the matte finish, which seems to be a big problem for a lot of other cases. Also, it doesn't add a whole lot of bulk or heft to the computer - I am able to fit it horizontally in my small messanger bag, even though it's obviously meant to fit vertically in a normal backpack - but it does provide the protection needed.

The case is good, but if you really want white to match your MacBook (personally, it doesn't really matter to me - no one can see the case in my bag anyway), you may want to look elsewhere.
