Customer Reviews:

1 out of 5 stars worst sound ever.......2007-05-12

this thing is only for the truly desperate. It has the worst sound of any computer sound device I have ever used. The optical out is terrible, it seems that the signal is being converted to analog then back to digital by this thing, so it solves none of the the problems one might hope to solve, which for me is trying to avoid a hum introduced by my ac/dc power supply for my laptop, hum still there.
The laptop audio out plug sounds way better.
Don't bother with this thing.

5 out of 5 stars Works Great!.......2007-03-20

I have been using this product in both Windows XP and Linux(Ubuntu 6.10 Edgy) and it works flawlessly. It plays back both DTS and Dolby Digital sounds over it SPDIF Toslink out when I am at home and it has way better sound for headphones than my laptops built in sound. I would definetly recommend this product to a friend.

3 out of 5 stars Decent product for price........2006-11-06

For what I paid for, the Sound Card is good. The software that came with it, meaning volume and mixer, does not work on one of my pc's but does work on another. Customer support has politely made clear that there is no way they are willing to help. Since I still can use the soundcard with windows' tools I'm ok with it. In the pc where everything works it really improved the sound quality.
