This fan works great...but it is a real pain to put on your chipset. Had to install this twice...due to one of the brackets used to hold the fan in place came off of the motherboard. This left my chipset running hot. This was a problem with my motherboard & not the fan.

When you install this...make sure that you have plenty of time...tool set for tightening down each side & take out your video card for clearance. The biggest secret to installing this is not to tighten down either side too tight. If you do tighten this down too tight...you may have the mounting bracket come off as well. Since my motherboard does not have mounting screws to mount this fan...I can not speak about using screws to mount this.

Other than the installation issues...this will cool down your chipset very nicely. It actually runs quite a bit faster than my stock CPU cooler & a Zalman CPU I have bought...but not installed.

I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone to install one of these & throw away the stock fan if you build your own system or want to cool your chipset down as low as it can go with air cooling..
