Simple connector allows dual simultaneous charging of cell phone and computer without carrying multiple power bricks when you travel. I recommend it highly.

I purchased this charging cable to use with my cellphone and my set of mp3 speakers. The manufacture is not interested in adaptor tips for my equipment, as it is older than 4 years. What good is new technology if it is not backward compatablie?

I bought this cable along with the Kensington 120W Universal Power Adapter in case I needed to charge two items simlutaneously. Worked out pretty good except that sometimes the power would not split into the two devices, but its no big deal since all I had to do is unplug and replug them. So overall its not such a bad idea unless your phone charges on a USB charger like mine (Motorola) but its definitely something worth buying along with the power adapter.

Not so happy. Ordered one of these and plugged by PDA which did not charge.

Turns out that it only charges when the larger item is drawing current. So it will only charge the phone/pda etc IF the laptop is drawing current. This is very annoying when the laptop is shut down with a full battery since it draws no current, thus the phone/pda do not charge.

Be aware that you cannot use this cable to charge 2 low voltage devices at the same time. You can ONLY charge one high-voltage device and one low-voltage device at the same time, which mean you can't charge your iPod and your cell phone simultaneously.
