great keyboard.......2007-06-11

This keyboard is very nice and light. Response time is excellent and mouse pad works great. My only issue with it is the mouse buttons. They are good but a little bit too resistant with a hard-click-action. I would prefer a softer touch for the mouse buttons. The best part of using it is surfing the net on the big LCD TV with such a small (but not too small) one piece unit. It's the perfect couch companion.

I use this little guy with my Mac, which is plugged into my LCD tv. I can control my computer with it from the couch with no problems whatsoever. In fact, I've been running on the same set of batteries for almost six months. (Four months light use, two months heavy use.)

The auto-off feature is nice to save batteries, and only occasionally annoying. Just have to hit the "ctrl" button a few times, and it wakes up with no problem. (I've found that the right-side ctrl button works better for this for some reason....)

I've never had any problems with range, but I am generally only about ten feet away from my Powerbook. The USB dongle is a little annoying; Bluetooth would be better, obviously, but I'm sure it would come at the expense of range or battery life.

Granted, it's not the prettiest piece of hardware, and really can't stand up to Logitech's offering in that arena, but it WORKS beautifully, and I would be surprised if the DiNovo Edge was functionally superior enough to justify the 100% increase in price.

All in all, highly recommended.

I purchased this keyboard because it matched the keyboard of my Dell laptop. I was looking for a wireless keyboard and monitor to turn my laptop into a desktop. So far this keyboard has worked flawlessly. It was simple to setup and the ergonomics and functions match my laptop perfectly, including the touchpad. I didn't want to use a mouse because I often sit in my recliner and use my HD tv as a monitor. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a wireless keyboard with a touchpad.

Great For A Home Theater.......2007-06-07

This keyboard is perfect for a home theater. It has a good range, is attractive and easy to use. The built in touch pad is great for sitting on the couch where using a mouse would be difficult. Although a 'compact' keyboard, the keys are large and easy to see in low light. There is no separate numeric keypad so do not expect to do your accounting work but you can use the regular number keys at the top. How often do I do a spreadsheet in my theater? NEVER!

I was concerned that this wouldn't work with my Mac but it works perfectly without drivers or anything.

I had free cable for a while, but it stopped. so instead of paying for it, I decided to get an HDTV, hook it up to my ibook and just watch movies and shows through itunes and netflix. But it was really annoying to have to get up every time to control the computer.

With this thing, problem solved. Works brilliantly, and it's really light and the trackpad saved me the hassle of having to get a separate mouse.
