With state-of-the-art fax capabilities and a 6ppm laser printer, this space saving business machine functions in the place of two or more devices.

Productivity and quality
The L80 offers features such as a 30-sheet ADF, Super G3 facsimile technology, and a large fax memory. Printed faxes and documents will both have the same result--quality laser output. At speeds up to three seconds per page, the L80 is a speedy substitute for any older model fax machine.

Rich in features
Additional features include delayed sending, polling, and reception restriction to allow users to manage their fax operations more efficiently. Directory search allows a user to look up and dial the correct number by easily viewing the stored phone numbers in speed dials, coded dials, or registered groups.

Print speedy and clear pages
The printer's ADF holds up to 100 pages and can print up to 6 ppm at 600 x 600 dpi in letter, legal, or A4 sizes.

Operating system
The L80 works with any Windows operating system from Windows 98 onward with a USB interface.

What a P.O.S.!.......2007-03-26

Terrible user interface - you must page through tons of cryptic menus to set basic features. Pulls multiple papers through, so you must start again. Is a G3, which you would think would be compatible with earlier non-G3 fax machines - WRONG - so you can't fax to 75% of the community that has a non G3 unit! I thought I was buying quality from Canon when I paid $250 for this hunk of junk! The cheap Brother and HP's at my work never have these problems and are easier to use, and much less expensive. Save your money and save the headaches! Sorry Canon, this product was a disaster!

For the price this is a great all round machine. I use it a lot for my home business. Yes it has a few minor quirks, but they are trivial. I see that several of the reviews complain that received faxed pages can fall on the floor. Where I work part-time, we have a "top of the line, big $$$" dedicated fax machine and it does the same thing. So you have to pick some pages off the floor, big deal. Or add a few bent paperclips to the end of the tray as a stop! Get creative. The only time my machine misfeeds is if the paper was put in the feeder not lined up, or when I try to put paper without taking out the paper that is already there. I would buy another one.

Inability to fax multiple pages.......2006-10-24

If you like a machine pulling multiple pages through at one time and being forced to feed each page before it shuts off, then this is the machine for you.

Must be a better machine.......2006-09-20

Replaced an old Sharp fax machine with what I thought was newer and better machine. WRONG!! if you don't baby it , it will not feed multiple pages. likes to pull two or three sheets at a time. What a pain! Other functions are not as intuitive as one would expect.

Absolute Junk.......2006-08-26

I purchased this model around 6 months ago, and the problems continue every day. This machine won't fax multiple pages...instead it likes to pull the whole 5 or 6 page set through at once, thus jamming and causing headache. Secondly, the machine likes to jam up while receiving. I am not the only one I know with these problems.

I wasted good money on this product and I would suggest you not do the same. Now I'm off to buy a new one of a different model; the old Canon got a swipe of the sledgehammer.
