Ok, you see the other reviews, great board, tons of great features, all true. HOWEVER!!!!! The software will not work if you install Vista directly on and then try to load the motherboard software. The GOOD NEWS is that if you install to XP first, no problemo! The board does run fast, quiet and generally cool. The ASUS site has all updated drivers, so it's only the initial install. Of course, if ASUS now sells the board with the updated drivers, then great, but be advised to check out the version of software the board comes with, or be prepared.

Perfect motherboard, works fine on 425 Mhz FSB speed. My C2D E6600 2.4 Ghz overclocked to 3.6 Ghz with 100% stability.

I'll be honest, I've owned this motherboard for a couple of weeks and I still haven't enabled all of its features. This is as fully packed a motherboard as one can imagine at it's price. And being Asus, it's fully customizable.

That being said, a purchaser will wish to visit the Asus website for the latest drivers and bios, especially if you're installing the Conroe processors.

Why not 5 stars? The documentation is sketchy in parts (but sufficient to get you up and running).
