5 out of 5 stars A perfect balance of form and function........2006-08-29

The negative of this case; it is not officially a "thermally advantaged" case. If you can't keep her cool with this thing you need more than Intel's TAC Spec anyway. As a smoker who gave his last PC lung cancer I'm very sensitive to filtration needs and this case delivers. A side issue is the tremendous power issues associated with more fans than your average mini-Tower. With mounts for two power supplies you will have plenty of wattage to spare(i'll be using two 550's). There is not a lot of information available to tieing two ps's together but a cable is shown on Coolermaster's Homepage. If you're not up to this dicey and advanced customization you can easily run both ps's independant of each other with one for system and one for fans and accent lighting if you're into that. You can also get an optional window panel if the tricked out look is your ball of wax. This is the case to get if you have more than three 5.25 bay devices such as a cupholder, SB input box, multiple DVD/CD drives, temp and fan speed indicatiors or card readers. Another big factor for me is no stupid door in the way which would interfere with my cupholder/cigarette lighter(yes such cupholding monster does exist and it's available here at Amazon). This case could easily be used for server duty. If desktop real estate is at a premium for you, if you go to a lot of lan parties or just don't have a lot of space you should look elseware. If you've got a ton of devices, if you open your case regulary for maintenance, teaking and cleaning you could do no better than this case. It is truly a site to behold. A perfect balance of form and function.

I've had my CM Stacker for about 2 months now and it is great. The instructions aren't the best and the type is very small. CoolerMaster has listened to the feedback from other reviews and has added casters to this package. The assembly is straight forward and you will have all of the hardware you need plus some. It took me about 2 hours to prepare the case, install the motherboard, 2GB RAM, 4 HD's (2 in HD coolers), floppy drive (yeah I still like to have it but I put it at the bottom), 2 DVD burners, and my CoolerMaster power supply with the front mounted meter. The case comes with 2 120mm fans that are super quiet and 1 80mm fan that blows through the top. I added the optional crossflow fan and 1 80mm fan on the side panel. The front and side panel have filters that will need to be vacuumed from time to time. The case comes with a HD bay that can hold 4 HD's and has 1 of the 120mm fans attached to the front. This case uses a rail system that works very well and you DO NOT have to screw the rails on. You can screw the hardware in after you slide it into the case and they provide all the screws you will need for that if you choose this option. I was going to do that but the fit is tight and secure. To remove any of the hardware you remove the sides, pop the clips, and slide it out. Overall, this is an awesome case that you can roll around when needed and it is super, super quiet. This is not an aluminum case.
