Product Description

Do you need a PC Card that offers instant connectivity to multiple PCs over existing telephone lines? The answer is here! The HomeLink Phoneline 10M Integrated PC Card is the ultimate in versatile connectivity for mobile users, allowing you to connect to any 1 Mbps or 10 Mbps HomeLink Network. This 32-Bit Integrated Cardbus PC Card is equipped with two standard RJ-11 telephone ports, and fits into any standard 32-Bit Cardbus slot, leaving room for a 56K modem or other PC Card in dual-slot notebook PCs. You can share Internet access via a dial-up, cable modem or DSL connection, as well as files, printers, and CD-ROM drives at 10 Mbps without interrupting regular telephone service. Since your HomeLink network runs on regular telephone cables, there's no extra hardware to buy. Just plug it into any standard wall jack and you're networked!

Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Good Laptop Networking Card.......2001-12-18

This card is an absolute MUST if you want to hookup your laptop to a home phoneline network. Once it's hooked up, it works like a charm!!! I installed this card in a new laptop that has Windows XP so I can definitely say that it is compatible with the new operating system.

There is one little installation tip that is not mentioned in the manual: You should hookup your phoneline router to your cable/dsl modem and make sure it is working properly BEFORE installing and using this card, otherwise your laptop will display a message indicating that a network device is unplugged even if you hooked it up to your phoneline. Other than this little tip, installation should go smoothly and you should be surfing the net from any room (having a phone jack) in your house in no time!!!

5 out of 5 stars Great product!!.......2001-10-22

This product is great. I couldn't run wires between the two rooms so this was a perfect solution. All you need is acess to a phone jack. It works just like a ethernet card only better because i can quicky move it from one computer to another! I love it!!!!!
