After reading some of the horror stories about setting up Belkin wireless routers, I hesitantly purchased this model one month ago. So far, so good. Set up was a snap, and thus far the router has performed excellently. No reboots, no dropped lines, no hesitation, or anything like that. I use it upwards of 9 - 10 hours a day and would recommend it to anyone who asked me.

Plug and play! Works great. Easy to set up for first time user(took me 15 minutes). Works perfect on my sons Mac with airport and my daughters PC notebook with USB adapter anywhere in the house. Mine is the 1 antenna model.

The discrepancies between reviews depends on what version you get. I have a v1000 of this router with two antennas, and it is rock solid. I've been running it almost 24/7 for almost 2 years and I never had to reboot it once! It's not as fast as a buffalo, but blows away my linksys (which needs a reboot every 3-4 weeks!). From the current reviews, it looks like Belkin messed with a good thing.

Be careful what you buy from Belkin! I purchased this router and never got it to work. While on the phone with Belkin customer service, I was asked two different times if I was sure I had Version 7000 (as indicated on the bottom). I confirmed that I did, and she finally told me to just return it and get a different one. I bought a Netgear router and it's working just fine.

Watch out, Belkin has moved tech help to India. Can't get to advanced tech help, must wait for a return call. I've been waiting over a week. No call. I bought another router from another manufacturer. Be forwarned.
