Product Description

Includes a convenient travel kit. Belkin Wireless G Travel Router - Hotels normally include broadband Internet access in each room, but it's usually a wired option. You might be used to the freedom and flexibility of wireless connectivity, but what can you do? Well, if you have this travel router from Belkin, you can easily transform that wired connection into a wireless one! It also works well in hotel conference rooms, allowing multiple computers to connect and share files or the Internet

Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Works well as an adaptor.......2007-03-24

For some devices, such as PVRs, you need a wireless adaptor that works with an ethernet connection. This is great for that application.

I use one with a ReplayTV and am able to stream video to/from my PVR w/ no problems.

4 out of 5 stars using as a primary router as we speak.......2006-10-03

contrary to the intended design, I just wanted a cheap wireless router for home. I bought this and had it running within 20 minutes. The speed is nearly the same as my hardwire DSL connection, 1.5MBPS vs 1.3MPBS or so. I guess some sort of auxiliary internet port would be good for home use but if you live in an apartment or with roommates who all have laptops, like it seems like these days, I don't see any problem with this. It seems like it would work extremely well as a travel router too, the main unit is about the size of a PCMCIA card and it comes with a sturdy travel case.

4 out of 5 stars more than a router - an adapter too.......2006-03-07

I don't use this as a router. It also can be configured as what Belkin calls an "ethernet adapter" and Linksys a "bridge." Note that it costs less than the Belkin F5D7330 and other such products. I plugged it into the network port of a computer with no wireless capability (and no free slots), set it up, and now the computer is on my wireless network. Setup was easy with my web browser. It has been working fine for several weeks. Although I don't travel with it, I think the small size is a plus. I would have given it more stars if I had tested it in its other modes.
