The versatile wireless print server also gives you the flexibility to place a printer in a convenient location, while eliminating the cost of network cabling. It supports multiple wired and wireless PC and notebook users running a variety of popular operating systems, such as Windows, Macintosh, UNIX, and Linux. The print server's USB 2.0 port supports the latest high-speed connections for faster throughput and is compatible with USB 1.1/1.0 printers. Wireless communication can be configured to operate in infrastructure mode through an access point for larger mixed wired-wireless LANs, or in ad hoc mode using direct peer-to-peer connections for home and small office environments. A familiar Web browser interface and helpful Setup Wizard make installation and configuration an easy task. You can't have a secure network without a secure print server. Very good print server, but bad range.......2005-02-20

This printer server was very easy to set up and works very well, including using WPA encryption. The web setup is nice and the included setup software works well.

The range is not so good. The printer server and router are located and adjacent rooms with one wall between them. The signal strength is only 48%, therefore it may not be suitable for large houses.

It would get 5 stars if the range was better.
