Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars Okay, but . . . .......2007-06-08

After extensive research, I purchased this combo about two weeks ago. The pros are:
- decent price, compared to the Apple product
- appears to be reasonable quality
- I find the mouse responsive enough for my needs
- no real issues with the tensile aspects of the keyboard

the cons are:
- commands mysteriously come and go off the keyboard and mouse. In other words, buttons and F keys don't respond to specifically advertised actions.
- Logitech support is iffy, at best. There is no owners book, no specifics as to how to trouble shoot, or change key commands (at least on a cursory basis. FAQ's Logitech?). Their boards are only marginally helpful. I would hope their Biz/Dev people would reevaluate the burgeoning Mac market. I am an example of a "returnee", having just purchased an iMac after 7 years of being on the "dark PC side".
- seriously, Logitech, Bluetooth this thing, even if it costs a few bucks more to the user. These are Mac users, willing to pay a bit more for slick technology.
Overall, I would buy this product again, but it certainly is not perfect.

3 out of 5 stars Mouse good, keyboard so-so.......2007-06-06

So I finally went for a wireless keyboard/mouse set up. I was looking at getting a new macbook, and I wanted something that i could use both with my desktop (a ubuntu box) and the laptop. normally, i would consider a wireless keyboard to be overkill for a desktop (how much do you really move your keyboard around?), but for a laptop, it makes sense. Anyway, I decided to go for this setup.

The mouse is nice. I like the side buttons and tracking is smooth. The horizontal scroll wheel is kind of annoying, but most mice come with this these days, so it's not really a fault of this particular mouse.

The keyboard, though, is sort of lame. I hate the key action, it's way too loose. The keys kind of wobble when you hit them, which sometimes makes me second-guess a keypress. I much prefer a keyboard with stiffer keys and a springy feel. This keyboard is kind of flaccid. I wish I had taken the time to look at this one in a store before buying it online, but impulse buying has got me again. Oh well, it's not unusable, just not ideal. Guess I will learn to live with it.

4 out of 5 stars Good with workarounds.......2007-05-31

I'm generally pleased with the consistent performance of this keyboard/mouse combo. It is the best wireless setup I've used (although that isn't saying a *whole* lot -- I've only used a few, and they've all been poor).

The issues I work around:

- I have to adjust tracking speed every time the OS boots
- The keyboard is a bit "klunky"... my typing isn't as smooth as it was with the stock Mac keyboard
- USB slot is occupied by proprietary antenna (onboard Bluetooth does not work)

3 out of 5 stars Mediocre at best.......2007-05-31

I didn't like this set when I first got it. Don't get me wrong, the design is great. It looks great with any new Mac. The problem with the keyboard are the flimsy keys. The keyboard just didn't feel solid with every key I punched. The mouse's tracking speed is not great. I don't know if it's bad enough for most users to even recognize. I can feel a slight lag while moving the cursor so this translates to inaccuracy, especially while retouching in photoshop. I've gotten use to the flaws but everytime I use my pc setup I noticed the difference right away.

It's great except it would be nice to have a light showing "Caps Lock" is on.
