I had previously installed a BFG card. I tried for 3 months to get it to work with dual monitors - multiple drivers, installing things in different order, messing with the bios, uninstalling the onboard video...

I finally realized that their card didn't work. I bought this one based on the high review marks.

To my relief, I plugged it in, installed the driver, and I have dual monitors. And this card doesn't even need a stupid fan!

There's also a major performance boost for my machine as the graphics chores have been offloaded. Video (and multiple videos) also plays great. The BFG needed the settings to be tweaked every time you opened a video.

The moral: XFX Good, BFG: Bad.

Works OK, was looking for more as it is linked to my Panasonic Plasma and the automated sync kept falling over, but if you don't spend the wasted hours trying to sync automatically and do it yourself then a good card at a reasonable price. Conversion to low profile was my main reason for purchase and if you buy the kit it's easy. BUT YOU MUST BUY THE KIT, because while it says it's low profile on the box it's not without the kit.Low Profile Bracket Kit

I bought the XFX GeForce 6200 as an upgrade for a Emachine with onboard video(8 megs of video memory). It installed easily and quickly. It worked for three weeks, then just quit. I contacted XFX and wwas directed to their return department. After the normal "make sure it is the card", I was given a return authorization. I received an email after they received the returned card telling me the card had failed their testing. I received a replacement card with four days. One added plus to all this is XFX has a "lifetime" warranty. Not only am I covered, but if I should sell my computer, the next owner will be covered also, for as long as the card is registered.

I spent far too much time looking high and low for a video card that finally gave me what I needed for light gaming, video, etc...

This card is nice and a little beefy for the size. It works good with my Dell GX260 with Linux SUSE OS. One warning though: If you don't have an updated kernal, it will give you some problems. I had to update and recompile the kernal and then make sure that it pointed to the correct keyboard and not a vnc keyboard so that I could type in the GUI.

Other than that, I really like the card and I am soooo glad that they support Linux platforms.
