I have a Linksys wireless home network. I bought this to use with my TIVO for sending recorded movies to my laptop. Works great, was fairly easy to set up and I haven't had to mess with it since.

WUSB12 and TIVO.......2005-10-31

If you are planning to have TIVO join your home LAN using a WUSB12 from Linksys, be careful. The TIVO bulletin boards are replete with problems getting wireless to work with TIVO. The problem seems to be on the TIVO side. However neither TIVO or Linksys is much help in solving the problem.

I purchased the wireless adapter to connect my TIVO dvr to my wireless network. The adapter was on the list of compatible adapters that TIVO has on it's website. Installing was a snap!

Purchased this adapter to run my TIVO machine with wireless network instead of telephone line. Works like a charm.

Bought this for my Tivo player. Was tired of waiting for downloads via phone line. Installation and configuration was a breeze (under five minutes). Plug it in, restart the player and it configures with a fee menu clicks. My Tivo updates now take about 30 seconds and the wireless strength signal is only shown as "poor" due to the distance from the Tivo player to the wireless router. Would highly recommend this product for Tivo users.
