Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars Nice as always.......2007-05-24

ThinkOutside always made nice products.
I knew this keyboard since the "wired" Palm Portable Keyboard version - and I kept thinking since then: why don't they make a bluetooth version? Well, they heard my prayers and finally I have a 5-row keybard with dedicated numbers row. Way to go, guys!
Downside: it could be less thick ;)

5 out of 5 stars Easy to use and performs as expected.......2007-05-24

I have a BlackJack smart phone and it works great with this unit. I found it easy to install and with the 10 programmable keys, it makes my phone very useful when traveling. I have not had it for long, so time will tell if there are any negatives, but so far so good.

3 out of 5 stars Nice device, but questionable tech support?.......2007-05-23

It looks like ThinkOutside was bought by iGo, and after trying for tech support each day for a week, it looks like their web site is finally back up...but a bit weak in terms of tech support-- can't find drivers for Windows Mobile 5.

The keyboard is a rather ingenious folding design and has a OK feel when typing, but it's a bit annoying to have the center section not lock in place so that the keyboard does not sit flat. In fact, the bumps on the back of the device keep the center section raised, so when you type it sort of bangs back up and down a bit. The PDA holder is pretty worthless -- mine slid off repeatedly. That's a HP iPaq 5915 which did find the keyboard pretty easily.

4 out of 5 stars Functionality issues on Moto Q.......2007-05-14

The full size keyboard is very nice. Actually full size, with number row and all, unlike many other fold ups that claim to be full size.
It seems to have some functionality issues with my Motorola Q though. The softkey buttons don't always work. The enter key does not work in DataViz Documents to Go. Instead, the enter key toggles selection mode.

5 out of 5 stars This works with a treo 700p and a vista laptop.......2007-05-04

lets start by saying this is a great keyboard
when i pulled it out of the box and opened it for the first time it looked so sweet.
the keybord itself is great the keys work fine and the pda stand also works great.i just notice when i use the keyboard w/ my treo and press the same letter really fast it sometimes only registers once but i have not messed with the keystroke settings yet (in the palm application)
how i got this to work w/ my palm treo 700p is i downloaded that latest software from think outsides web page, went to my bluetooth (bt) application on my palm and put it in the trusted devices, the i went to the keyboard app and connected it their (you have to push the discovery button)
if this does not work or try reseting your palm and trying again, it worked for for me
as for vista all you have to do is go to your bt settings and add the device (has to be in discovery mode)

the few problems are
after i pare the keyboard with my phone then disconnect it an try to connect it to my laptop i have to go through the bt add device thing on my laptop (takes like 30 sec)for the keyboard to work and the other way around with switching from laptop to phone but i have reset my phone for it to work (takes like 1 min)
also the 5-way navigation thing on the keyboard does not work with the palm
the 1 key is kinda small which does not really matter and the delete key is at the bottom of the keyboard insted of at the top

other then that the keyboard is great works with my treo and laptop
(o ya when you first get it put the battery in and press and hold the discovery button, at first it lookes like it's DOA cause nothing lights up once you push the button it starts to blink)
if your thinging about buying this just buy it you wont be disapointed
