Gorgeous, easy to use, totally satisfied.......2007-06-02

I've been a Mac user since I was a kid and we played Number Munchers on our Apple IIe. So I've owned several over the years. I'd had a PowerBook G4 (titanium) that was getting close to 5 years old so we decided to upgrade. One visit to the Apple Store later and we were sold on the 20" iMac. You have to love Apple's simplistic, sleek design. The screen is exceptionally bright, which is another reason that sold us so soon on this machine. We chose the model with the Intel Core 2 Duo processor, not only is it faster but should we ever have to install Windows for a work or school-specific program, it won't be a problem. The tiny camera (you hardly notice it) is fantastic as well and a major plus. This is an extremely speedy machine, more than most people will ever need, and a beautiful package at an excellent price. If you have the few hundred dollars extra to spend, it's worth getting this one over the 17" model - your eyes will thank you!

LOVE my MAC!.......2007-06-01

This 20" screen is perfect for page layout design while giving me enough room for my pallets. it's fast and has steamlined my office, this imac replaced two bulky monitors and two bulky towers, the two in one computer is perfect for my business, because I can run windows for my accounting and check my web site designs in a PC environment while creating on my mac side.

Having this all on one computer makes back up easier as well, hit one button at the end of the day before heading home and my data is safe and sound. less time, less power, less clutter, less headaches. Great display, great speed, you can't go wrong! I am so glad my Mac fixit guy recommended it to me.

it stopped working.......2007-05-25

This item was WONDERFUL for the first 2 days but then stopped working. It wouldn't "boot up" anymore.

I gave it 2 stars because this company was very easy to work with. They sent UPS to pick it up and I had a full refund within a few days. I didn't do an exchange for fear of the same thing happening again. I will go through Apple when I replace it.

I just switched from an HP Laptop. No more viruses, no more worms, no more time lost when booting up and browsing the web. The iMac is fast, never hangs up and the operating system is just a joy to work with. It costs more but at the end you are buying better equipment.

Recently purchased the iMac 20" Duo Core and absolutely love it. I had a grape iMac for almost 7 years and it just didn't compare. So much more speed, storage and more. Since I do digital photography and graphics for work and home usage, I needed something that could deliver. This Baby delivers! I highly recommend it!
Great price and fast service from Amazon too.
