I had the original xbox communicator, but i broke it. I was given the cordless one for chrismas this year and at the beginning it worked fine, but it does not hold a charge and is cheaply made. I thought logitech would not put out such a bad peice of equipment.

DO NOT BUY THIS I repeat DO NOT BUY THIS. Does not hold a charge. Garbage. You'd think Logitech would've fixed this by now its been out for a while. Like a friend told me thats probably why you can't buy it in stores anymore. I wish amazon would let you put no stars, actually this deserves a -20 rating

Very Disappointed.......2007-01-29

I bought the Logitech wireless controller a little while back, the black one, and it works very, very well. It's a quality Logitech product, like their PC peripherals and universal remotes. So, I thought adding this headset would seal the wireless deal for me.

Yes, it's comfortable and the sound from the ear piece is very good, but there is white noise that's always on in the background, you can never tell if it's muted or not, the battery doesn't last even close to specs (they say 9 hours on a charge but I barely get over 2), and the mic BARELY picks up my voice, and I'm not a low talker. I have to yell to be heard, and then only barely. People tell me I come in very low on their side, like I'm far away. I don't know if this is a problem with the recent versions or not, but everyone else who says the mic is sensitive is either lucky or lying.

I'm sorry, but the quality is abysmal. I know it's a lot cheaper now than it was a long time ago (I got it for $20), but save yourself the money and stick with the wired solution. I can't believe after all this time no company has made a good-working wireless solution for the Xbox. What a shame.

the microphone never worked because the battery was dead. Costumer service attention very good though. they returned a new one for me after I complained but it also had the same problem. they return my money, but the microphone never worked.

This headset has great range, and provides a clear sound both through the microphone and ear piece. However, my only complaint is the short life this headset has. After about an hour, the headset would die, and the only way to use it would be with the power chord attached. But other than that, good purchase.
