This is a fast, not noisy, USB external Drive... compatible with Macs... but, not firewire... that's why the 4 stars...
but is a nice choice for export all the iTunes Library and update the ipod without problems of space computer HD.

The delivery took only three days, and the installation process was only minutes long. The hardware is good, haven't dropped it yet to test its durability. The software is slightly limited to backup only one computer, but there are ways around this. Otherwise it does what it's supposed ta.

It worked extremely well - even on my Intel-Based MAC - and its been running without issues, even with all the videos I've put on it.

A Product with Many Strong Points but It has Problems.......2007-05-12

The Simpletech 250 GB hard Drive works well and the price was good, but it is somewhat noisy and puts out alot of heat. I cannot comment on the reliability/dependability of it as I have only had it for 2 months. It is only turned on when I wish to read/write to it or less that 2 hours per week. I am concerned about what the heat produced will do over a long time. I am interested in long-term storage unit as a backup.
