Works well in XP SP2, Vista, only download the right drivers in ANYCOM. Supports AD2P and the software keeps thing simple and with better option than BlueSoleil interface

The four stars instead of five may not by Anycom's fault, but occasionally I have to disable/enable or unplug adapter to get it communicating with my PDA. It's hard to know if it's Windows, my Dell laptop, Anycom or my Samsung PDA is at fault. A relatively minor point is it would be nice for the adapter to come with a cap to keep the USB plug clean.

I decided to buy the Anycom usb-250 because it had the one of the highest ratings and fewest problems reported, compared with similar products. I am happy that I did so, because the 250 works great. I received the usb-250 when promised by Amazon. I did not use the installation cd included in the package, but went to Anycom's web site and downloaded the latest installation version. I bought the usb-250 to use with my v3xx, HT820 headphones and Motorola phone tools. Everything paired up well, I am able to download pictures and mp3's to my phone without using a cable, and I am able to listen to stereo sound off my computer without being tethered. Range seems to be around 25 to 30 ft in my house. All in all, a great product that does exactly what I bought it for and I would recommend this company. Thanks, ric

works with linux without problems, like my previous class 2 Kensington 33348 adapter. The range improves many-fold, but only if there are no obstacles in the way. In the apartment, when listening using a2dpd music in another room drops occur in exactly the same places. Could this be interference from the many wifi access points?
