We got these tapes because the price of this 5 pack is cheaper than any in-store 3 pack price in our area. The tapes worked perfectly with our Panasonic video camera, and they have been great quality to watch and record onto our computer.

This was relatively simple, I needed MiniDV tapes for my Panasonic PV-GS80 camcorder and these fit the bill.

The tapes are fine, what is there to be said about Panasonic DV tapes. The service from the vendor was wonderful as was the price, less than half what it would be in a camera store.

Excellent deal on mini-DV tape.......2007-05-15

For the price I paid ($25 for 10 tapes), this is definitely one of the best priced high-quality mini-DV tape on the market. I have used 3 tapes so far and everything seems to be fine (picture quality looks the same as others - I have a Sony HDR-HC3). I think the premium tapes are not worth it if you are going to import video on to a computer HDD. There may be a few drop bits here and there (according to manufacturer's claim anyway), but I don't think (most) people will notice them in the edited video.

For the money spent, this is a good product. To get five at this price is a pretty great deal, considering I work someplace that sells the same tapes in a pack of 3 for $24.99. The only problem I've seem to encounter is that when transferring the DV footage onto a computer, sometimes the audio does not match the video. I've used other brands and have not had this problem, but with editing it can be overlooked.
