This printer is fast, has excellent color, and is easy to use. Well worth the money. Great with pictures!

Good Printer.......2007-06-03

I would definitely recommend this printer. It prints photos very quickly as oppose to other printers I have used and the quality is great. The copy function has really come in handy. I used the duplex and it works fairly well but depends on paper quality. I wouldn't recommend using it for large number of copies. A few items to consider though: The printer is large and takes up more space than most. If you are used to refilling you cartridges to save money it may not be possible with this printer. Ink cartridges are reasonable in cost but depending on the type of printing you do, you may find that you are constanting replacing the cartridges. The function keys are great but you will need the user manual to understand everything an how to use the settings. All in all a very good printer.

major disappointment.......2007-05-31

I bought this to update an old HP. I was very impressed by the reviews. After unpacking it and loading up the software I went to print. It kept insisting that there was no paper in the machine. I removed the paper tray and turned the machine over to see if something was taped up; the hinges for the top of the unit became unhinged. I packed it up and sent it back.

Exceptional all-in-one printer.......2007-05-30

I've been looking for an All-in-One solution for quite some time and this one has lived up to it's reputation. Consumer Reports rated this Canon MP830 #1 and I must say, they were right on target. The print quality is excellent, but it's scanning, copying and faxing capabilities are even more impressive. I especially like the auto duplex coping and printing features. Buy this All-in-One printer, you will not be disappointed.

Problems and more problems.......2007-05-30

I am so disappointed with this product. It has so many great features and I was very excited to purchase it. I have spent hours trying to get it to print in color (even purchased new cartridges and performed all maintenance items) and it still does not print in color. The scanning process is quirky and repeats the scan so that I end up with multiple scans of the same item. The Canon web site is not helpful. I could not even locate this item on the web site. I am so frustrated that I will never buy Canon again. I had HP for many years and different models and never had a problem. I switched to Canon because of what seemed to be better features. What a waste of money.
