I love my iPod!.......2007-06-12

This is my first experience with an iPod. I travel all the time and am so sick of hearing everyone's cell phone conversations in airports. So, I bought this iPod and downloaded all my favorite songs from iTunes. The sound is incredible and there's plenty of space for songs - I don't think I'll have 500 songs for a long while. It's so lightweight and easy to use. I don't regret this purchase at all.

I was so excited that i got this for Christmas but that excitement faded quickly!!! when I first plugged it in to my comp it said can not remove for like two hours and while doing this it wouldn't let me download songs but finally things started looking better the next day i was able to get songs on it and it was great but a few days later for some reason all the music on my comp got downloaded to it songs I didn't want on there and it was annoying having to delete every song that I didn't want. also when my sister got hers all of our music kept getting confused and it was such a hassle (as is the setup when you first get it, it is so frustrating) but for a while this product was great i love how it separated songs into different categories that was awesome its something My NEW ZUNE cant do but besides that , that is one of the only things I liked . I SHOULD NOTE THAT I HAD THE FIRST GENERATION NANO SO MAYBE THINGS HAVE CHANGED WITH THIS NEWER MODEL. I recommend ZUNE or an IPOD VIDEO. My sister has an Ipod video and I use to use it and it worked great and my ZUNE it is AWESOME. I hope my review helps your decision for the right mp3. o and don't go buying Ipod just because its the most popular there are a lot of good mp3s that are some what cheaper and are only a little bit behind the Ipod in function and features some are even better or the same but the Ipod is a great product a little PRICEY but so is the ZUNE and a bunch of other MP3s.

Love it except..........2007-06-05

I got my ipod nano for mothers day less than a month ago. I thought it was great except when it froze up. Looks like I'm not the only one who experienced this inconvenience. If there was an instruction book, I'd have been somewhat comforted. I had to use trial and error and finally reset it by holding down the top two buttons. Which then erased all my stuff and I had to set it all up again. Last night, when it got stuck, I tried this trick again and my stuff was still there. Makes me nervous with an item that was not (imo) cheap. I also have trouble turning it off. Again, an instruction booklet would have been helpful. I think you need to pause whatever you're listening to and then go back to the beginning screen and then hold down the bottom button. At least that worked last time. Otherwise, it's a great little invention.

Item never delivered - seller insists it was - proof of delivery proved it was'nt!! Seller refused to help referring me to Amazon.

Great product, easy to use, nice sound, etc. The only thing that can be annoying: turning it off. You have to press the controls "just right" so that it goes from Pause to Off.
