Okay, it's inexpensive. But the same device is offered at about half the price on another page you can see above.

Meanwhile, it's got some kind of buggy driver that, even after reformatting, persists. It's perhaps a coincidence, but I've had some issues with a very stable machine since using this device. It's not worth saving a few bucks if it's going to mess things up!

Bottom line: it works, I found it quick enough on my machines, but I'm suspicious that it's messing with my computer. File folders appear that won't erase even after reformatting. Be careful!

I use this type of flash drive for my research and more than half the time I can never view the images on the computer or get the flash drive to work....not worth buying

You can love it or hate it based on what all you put on it. If you have a hodgepodge of medium-sized or small things, then it can work for you, but if you have large files, well, of course, a bigger GB would make more sense.

It's just perfect for my random needs--semi-large text documents, videos, songs, and pictures, and it even comes with a nice lanyard so that you don't lose it (well, that's if you actually put it around your neck). ;)

It is worth having.

Faulty Driver.......2006-09-17

I bought this drive only a few hours ago, saved very important documents to it, and all of a sudden, it doesn't want to open on me. It states that the drive needs to be reformatted, doing this would cause me to lose all of my data. Terrible, I warn you not to buy this product, not worth it!

My drive got mixed in with the wash. I found it as I was taking the clothes out and was worried but I plugged it in and it works fine and all data is intact.

As for the transfer rate I haven't seen any big issues with it. It is similar to the PNY 1GB that I also own.

You can get these pretty cheap now even without a rebate so if you are looking for a good 1GB stick this is the one.
