Whereas USB 1.1 is only 12Mbits/s, the new USB 2.0 Hi-Speed specification used by the BUSlink USB 2.0 runs at up to 480Mbits/s. USB, standing for "Universal Serial Bus", allows you to attach up to 128 devices simultaneously with automatic device detection and installation.Since USB 2.0 Hi-Speed is an evolution of the existing USB 1.1 specification, it is fully backward compatible with current USB systems and peripherals. Even with the dramatically increased speeds, it works with existing cables and connectors.
