Difficult to rate. Product came with no help at all as to installation and/or creation of a system that would allow the rental of the movies. Neither TIVO nor Amazon has been helpful in solving my problem and the system, therefore, does not work. Cannot rate very well.

I have a Series 2 Tivo, and before getting this wireless adapter, I've tried several other ways to connect it to my home network. I've used two USB wired ethernet adapters: the Linksys USB200M and the Belkin F5D5050. The Linksys design made it prone to breaking (it did). The Belkin just stopped working after a Tivo update.

I was a little worried that the wireless connection would be a problem, but the Tivo Wireless G USB Network Adapter is the best solution for me so far. Its construction is solid (it has a sturdiness and heft to it that the other plastic adapters don't have) and it has maintained a rock-solid wireless connection to my access point. I'm happy with the product and its performance. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the initial setup (through the Tivo) took a couple of reboots and I felt it should have been much easier and faster.
