SuperStack II Hubs put flexibility and quality design comfortably within the budget of a standalone, small office network. Simple to install and use, they are ideal for LANs with no on-site network support. The 3Com SuperStack II hubs provide high-quality connectivity solutions at entry-level prices for Ethernet networks that don't require comprehensive management; but do require reliability and ease of use.The SuperStack II Hub 12 is equipped with 12 RJ-45 10BASE-T ports. It has an extra port for a backbone connection using an optional Transceiver Interface Module. To improve performance, you can segment the LAN quickly and easily using the slide-in LinkBuilder Bridge MicroModule. The SuperStack II hubs are directly rack mountable, requiring no additional equipment. Each hub comes with a mounting kit. Multiple hubs can be cascaded, either by using the MDI/MDIX port to cascade via twisted pair or by simply adding an optional slide in transceiver modules.
