I really liked this keyboard. I have the model with multimedia controls on the side. I liked the usb hub as it allowed me to plug in additional items on my desktop and avoid using the usb ports on the back of the computer. Basically it gives you one *extra* USB port (as the keyboard itself takes one).

I also purchased on for my parents who use a usb printer plugged into the keyboard allowing them more freedom in placement without an additional USB hub.

The only down side seem to be that the keyboard, since it is a USB hub, isn't always recognized by all machines during boot. All the newer machines had no problem but requires a full power down reboot to work - quick booting and the keyboard was unregonized.
