The PRO200WL is a 100/10Mbps Fast Ethernet PCI-bus adapter equipped with Wake-on-LAN technology. A cutting-edge technology, Wake-on-LAN allows workstations to accept "magic packets" that can power "on" a workstation from a remote location. This ability is useful for many tasks, including deploying operating systems or applications, transferring files, running programs on client workstations, and much more. Wake-On-LAN combined with a 200Mbps throughput in full-duplex mode makes the PRO200WL a dream come true for network administrators. A built-in Auto-Negotiation function smoothly and automatically switches drivers between 100Mbps and 10Mbps connections. This capability allows older systems to communicate with newer systems, instead of being replaced! Trouble-shooting is simplified by LEDs displaying real-time network traffic status.

LOVE THIS CARD.......2006-08-05

This card is great. It cost me next to nothing, it was super easy to install, and has been working great with zero problems. What else can you ask for in an enet card? I've got 3 in 3 different computers and they have all been excelent. I'm gonna buy 2 more just to have incase I need 'em, at these prices, why not. Great card!! Love it!!

I wish I could give this card a negative 5 star rating! It will not run at even half my cable speed ( 360KB./6MB. ) either upload or download. I was lucky to get in a test before the card crashed ( blue screen with a hardware error message. ) & I had to hard reboot. I tried using several different test servers with the same results. I also tried installing the card in different PCI slots with the same results. I "tried" installing the drivers from the included floppy disk ( even though the documentation said you did not need to if your running XP. ) & guess what? It is BLANK!! And yes I did check my drive with another floppy & it was fine. I expected alot better from CNET, but I guess I was just being naive. Save yourself some time & trouble & buy a real name brand ( Linksys, Netgear, Belkin, etc. ). Now to see how much money & trouble it will cost me to return this piece of junk & get a refund.

BTW- This is the the only review I have ever felt a need to make on Amazon over the last couple of years, but I just could not ignore how bad this product is!

This card is great. It runs everything I need it to including, the wake on LAN and the speed is great I recomend this card to anyone with a desire to get a great card at a great price.
