In today's enterprise-wide networks, the physical environment is critical to the uptime, security and reliability of your equipment. Measure-UPS II works with your APC Smart-UPS or Matrix-UPS to provide monitoring of temperature, humidity and other environmental conditions. Measure-UPS II sensors for temperature and humidity continuously monitor the environment of your valuable equipment. User-selectable thresholds allow you to decide when you need to be notified of potential environmental problems to prevent damage from occurring. Measure-UPS II offers four user-definable external inputs for use with sensors for fire, water, smoke, unauthorized entry, physical security, or any external condition that can be measured via contact closure. Measure-UPS II communicates information in a variety of formats to ensure that your application is supported. APC's PowerChute plus software provides a graphical user interface as well as administrator notification of environmental problems. The new FlexEvents feature in PowerChute plus allows Measure-UPS II information to trigger a number of user-defined events, including paging, safe system shutdown and event logging. Measure-UPS II works in conjunction with APC's PowerNet family of SNMP agents and adapters, and with Call-UPS II for network as well as modem-based communication of system environmental conditions.Electronics:
